Childhood Memories Brought Back Anew

I've introduced my son to the joys that can be had with a Whoopi Cushion.
He got it for a birthday present from my cousin and until I took it out of the bag and blew it up showing him what the classic rubber balloon could do he thought it was dumb.
As you can see, he doesn't think that anymore.

Autograph's Anyone?

So this past month has been a bit interesting... I got tickets... well actually Keenan got tickets for his birthday to go and see Fred Penner. I was absolutely stoked to go see him. I watched his show for all 13 seasons he was on tv. After the show which during a coupe of songs I actually ended up crying during, yeah I'm a sap. Anyway, after the show he was out in the hall signing autographs, so we bought the Fred Penner's Place cd and he signed that and the kids tickets for us. He was really sweet.

Today, I went up to Burlington to the Indigo book store there, because Gordon Ramsay was there doing a book signing. Well much to my chagrin I didn't get my cookbook signed. I was hoping that I could get up there early in the morning but mom didn't believe that there'd be a line up that long... there were probably 500 people in line and that was after they had given out the 200 armbands. Met some interesting people in line, and we had fun trying to pass the time.
I'm tempted to try to figure out a way to get to the Toronto Indigo at 6am tomorrow. *chuckles* He'll be there signing books.

So I was absolutely elated about how getting Fred Penner's autograph turned out and absolutely saddened that Gordon couldn't stay another hour to finish up the people who were still in line.

What's New...

Been enjoying a new game as of late... *look down or up* yep that's it... puzzle pirates.

I'm understanding what it's light to fall out of touch with friends... people who I never thought I would fall out of touch with...

Find myself contacting some from high school that if you would have told me in high school that one day I'd be contacting them I would gone ' o.O uh what?' too...

I'm not enjoying the new neighbours at all ... new young couple moved into the basement and a friend of theirs into the bachelor on the main floor... *sighs* in the last month the police have been here 3 or 4 times... fire department's been here twice... and the health department... why is it when we're young we're stupid... Seems instead of dealing with the landlady directly they'd rather call whichever authority they have on speed dial... and bother their day instead... Which in turn of course messes with my day... So my decision of taking a nap flew out the window... *shrugs* early to bed then tonight I guess.

The snow has stopped, the rain has started...

And there's a couple of other things but I'll wait til after Monday to tell them...
