No I'm not Dead...Honestly.

So I've had this window open for weeks with every intention of sitting down and writing up a blog post...even started one that is saved around here somewhere...

so what's new? ... generally I answer that question with 'not much, what's new with you?'  let's see if I can update on everything and still keep it somewhat short...

I got kicked from the MU* I'd been playing for nearly 7 yrs... why you ask... cause Swift's an fucking asshole...(I bitched and wrote up a whole long post about it but threw it up on live journal instead of posting it here)

I did the Relay for Life with my team...it actually went really well... I was surprised...I believe we raised almost $400... I was a bit disappointed by that... but then again there's always next year...and yeah I'm silly enough that I think I'll actually put together another team...

Every time I get a bit pouty I just remember that... I got my ticket to Reno!!! Huzzah!! *huge grin* I'm heading to Nevada in late August...yeah I've been told I'm crazy and that it's crazy hot there in August...truthfully I could care less if there were snow...lol I'm just happy to be going...

Also in August before I leave for Reno... the weekend before to be exact... I'm heading to the Red Spiral Womens Retreat...yay! I'm glad I'm able to make it this year...

the Manchild has been frustrating the fuck out of me... yeah yeah yeah... don't gimme the whole teenager crap... the one weekend he got under my skin so bad that I raised my fist to him...did not like that...I just wish he'd  listen to his father and I... *sigh* fucking social networking sites... that's what it all boils down to... but anyway...next week he's graduating from grade 8...*le sigh* high school in September...ugh...

Manchild

the Boychild has been more and more resistant to going to school as the year is coming to a close...and he's ecstatic that Cubs is over...and not looking forward to going to the last camp... but told him after that camp if he didn't want to do it anymore then he didn't have to. He's also really excited that the school/school  board has given him a laptop system (laptop, headset, printer, scanner..etc.) for him to do his work on at school...he's unable to bring it home for the summer as it goes back to the board for the summer to get upgraded...but in the fall he gets it back again for grade 5...ugh...I cannot believe he'll be in grade 5 in September...

Boychild

my babies are growing up so fast...

talking about babies or lack there of I should say... this new system of taking my birth control in order to avoid hormonal depression seems to working great... only down fall besides the increased possibility of stroke... is the migraines...I get them like clockwork when I start the placebos for three days... odd but doc has me on cafergot for the migraines...talk about old skool!

only thing I'm going to say about the Stanley Cup... I cannot believe that Vancouver let Boston win in their arena... *shakes head* dumbasses... and done.

I have a new fur baby... which I posted pics of on FB but don't think I said anything about it here...and if I did oh well... a boy ferret needed a new place to live... so we took him in and have been loving him all up.. his name was Mos...but... since he's deaf...yep..deaf... we've been calling him Moe... I like it better...

Oh yeah!... Burton and I went over to Buffalo to see a friend of ours... that was fun... we did a wine tasting...then went back to her house for a wonderful lunch that she made for us... Chicken Masala... it was yummy...unfortunately I was still terribly tired after the Relay for Life the night before and after a belly full of wine and yummy foods... I was passing out on the couch...lol they were real sweet about it...and I promised to be more awake next time... lol
I'm really glad that Burton and I are seeing her outside of the usual circle of people we would see her at because I'm not exactly sure how much longer that circle of people will be getting together...yeah bunches of crapola there...
So more goings on planned for visiting over to Buffalo... which makes me a happy camper.

so yeah... I think that's about it... other then boring stuff like how I've watched all of Firefly and am now working on Farscape... lol or how I send really nerdy pick up texts to Big Daddy... lol
