I have a date!
well sort of...
I have an appointment in Toronto on Wednesday January 25th starting at noon... I say starting because there's a bunch of shite that I have to do...I have to go to the diagnostic centre...to do an ecg...then I have to go to admitting and get a hospital card then I have to go and meet my doctor... Dr L Harris (female btw)
after talking to the receptionist at the cardiologists office I cried...
scary... because now its getting closer... happy... because now its getting closer...
I'm still a lil stunned... I'll post more later...

Ahhh buddy...sending lots of hugs..but I have to say I am glad the ball is finally rolling. The sooner they see the sooner they can do..if it needs any doing...you know u have friends here to cry, vent, bitch and jump for joy if need be, with...always here for u...
Moon: thanks so much... my friends online have helped a lot...especially on the days where I don't necessarily want to talk to anybody... but an open pm box helps...
Lauren: Nice to see ya over here ;) ..the back story on this particular ongoing post is... approx 8 years ago I was diagnosed as having "panic attacks"...in July of last year after having three "panic attacks" in one weekend... I went to my doctor and told him that there was definately something wrong with me... after seeing a caridologist again... they agreed... I have some sort of strange heart condition... long story short... I have to go and have a "procedure" (apparently the PC word for surgery) in Toronto... they will be sending a laser into my heart... if they slip I could end up with a pacemaker... and this post was about how 4 days after I get back from Cuba I have to go meet with my surgeon ;)
We all know how scary this is and how much anxiety you must be feeling. The good thing is that after a wonderful vacation you will come back all relaxed. You'll have the procedure done and over with and your New Year will be attack free and you can get some real sleep.
You also know you have lots of people who love you and when you're feeling anxious we're more than happy to make you laugh or get you started on a rant so you forget all about it :p
Yeah too bad I'm not getting the procedure that day tho eh... it would be nice to get it over with... they're justgoing to judge to see how bad it is by their standards and then let me know when I will be scheduled for it...
