Dear Raistlan
I miss you! I'm really tired - I'll give ya the low down on today.
Woke up really early, had a wake up call at 7 am (ew!) was dressed and downstairs eating by 8 am. Bus was coming for us at 8:45am, however it didn't show up until 9am or so.
So we (a couple couples) got on the bus with the tour guide (her name was Seluma) and cruised over to the resort next door 'Playa Costa Verde Beach Resort'
After leaving Playa it only took about 20 minutes to get to the boat launch to get to the aquarium. See the aquarium is out in the middle of a bay, the only way to get to it is a 10 minute boat ride.
The set up would be really hard to describe so you can try to picture the layout after you see the pictures. Best way to describe it is.. 'have you seen Deep Blue Sea??' yeah kinda like that
Anyway we got to the aquarium and they offered us a drink, either cola or cola with rum, so I ended up having half of a cola without rum. Which is odd since we got I've had about 3 daquiris by noon.
We walked down to the two pools on the end where the dolphins were. We were split into 3 groups, all the families with kids went in the first group (and they all happened to be french). We were in the second group (all english) and the third group was spanish and french.
Before we got into the water we had to let them know if we were going to do any of the 'extras', ('extra' of course is spanish for 'pesos') there are a couple of things like I said that are extra - The Foot Push: is where you lay on your belly, lock your knees and stick your legs out behind you and the dolphins push you by your feet. Dolphin Ride: is where you are between the two dolphins and you hold on to their dorsal fins and they'll take you for a ride around the pool. The Kiss: you are floating and the dolphins will come up on either side and kiss you on your cheeks. (on your face :P)
**messy writing again**
damnit I'm falling asleep again...I'll finish up tomorrow... I love you
